As you know multiple streams of income an integral part of Internet Marketing. If it were not for auto pilot earnings we would not make half as much from the Internet as we do today. Systems that earn affiliate incomes and paid advertising commissions contribute to a large percentage of our monthly income. One of these sources of advertising commissions is Google’s AdSense program. BTW, this email is not about Google’s AdSense program! Now don’t get me wrong here, there are merketers who make great income from AdSense I have seen it personally, there have been times when I have checked my account and made over $20 in one day from AdSense so the bottom line is the AdSense program does work and does earn you money. Anyone who’s anybody in marketing online seems to quote of two statements as ‘The Gospel’ of making a regular  income -

“The Money Is In The List”
OR

“The Money Is In Your Relationship With Your List”

But for many - the question is — How do I build and manage a mailing list of my own?

The short & simple answer is to use a ‘Mailing List Management Service’

More commonly known as an Autoresponder.

The idea being to offer a newsletter or incentive for website visitors to ’subscribe’ or ‘Join’ a mailing list.

And then to send periodic email messages to that list containing links back to offers on the website or to affiliate links to other websites, and reby increasing the income potential of the list owner.

The list subscribers benefit by being the first to know of offers or receiving ’special’ rates for products or services they may be interested in. As well as informative articles & educational emails from the list owner helping them in whatever subject they may have an interest in.  (and thereby keeping them as loyal subscribers) It therefore makes sense for any website owner to build and maintain a mailing list.

Which begs the question… Where does one find a Mailing List Management Company, And how does one choose which service to use? A quick search on google for ‘Mailing list management’ or ‘Autoresponder service’ brings back 2,640,000 and 227,000 results respectively.

Quite a choice I’m sure you’ll agree!

Next - a decision needs to be made.
If you are a major company with unlimited resources, you would probably purchase software to run an in-house system of your own, with permanent managers actively running your own servers and hosting, as well as building your corporate website.

However - for the average ‘Home Business’ entreprenuer, this would cost far in excess of any small business budget. So the service of choice would usually be to subscribe to an Autoresponder service.

Here the Autoresponder company would have their own domain and hosting with their own list management software installed to manage their customers mailing lists. Allowing customers to build multiple lists for each of their websites in exchange for an agreed monthly fee. Although the search results pulled up 227,000 posibilities, In reality there are just more than a handful that seem to have cornered the market.

There are FREE services that have restrictions on numbers and types of mailings available and more often than not contain advertisments for other sites. These tend to be frowned upon due to webmasters wanting to maximise their own profit potential. Rather than have their hard won prospects tempted away by adverts in their emails.

Also the restrictions can be awkward in terms of creating a mailing as and when they wish to - particulary in sending out an off the cuff ‘Broadcast email’.

Hence a paid service is most commonly recommended.

These leave the website/list owner in total control of their own mailing list & subscriber base.
HOWEVER: The more facilities and freedom these services give - usually also comes combined with a price equally as professional.

Meaning that most would be entreprenuers are still left wondering which service would give them the ability to build & manage their lists, but at a price that is comfortable enough to make the monthly fees affordable without stressing over whether they can build their  sites on a part time basis!

With the most popular service recently reviewing their pricing structure, a lot of part time people have been put off taking the plunge.

And this is where I’m happy to review and recommend a service called WizardResponder.

I learned recently about The Freedom Class, a laptop seminar with Tim Brocklehurst.

He claims that with just 2 days, he can set you up with your own Internet Business set to earn over $66,000 in eight months - and over $100,000 in a year.

The theory is based around the phenomenon of exponential growth, and there are numerous examples of people who have experienced it using effective viral marketing on The Internet.
